Billy Bob’s Silver Diner
Billy Bob’s Silver Diner had for the longest time an old website built with framesets. The site was difficult to navigate and its look varied from one page to another.
The client wanted a new look to match their 50’s theme restaurant and their jukebox-looking logo. I came up with a grungy look mixing rough textures, stripes, tape and chromes.
In the original layout, 3 vinyl records in the header served as an MP3 player. When clicked, the record would spin and launch a new 50’s tune. Unfortunately, for financial reasons, the client was not able to purchase the copyrighted songs they wished to have on the website and the player was dropped.
